(ITA) PEEP DIARY è una performance partecipativa e relazionale di Teatro Danza che affronta il tema della memoria scritta, nella forma del diario. Il pubblico, entrando in una stanza buia, parte per un viaggio che attraverso suggestioni e immagini, lo porterà a vivere emozioni legate al proprio vissuto. Sarà lui a illuminare, tramite la torcia del telefono cellulare, diario dei nostri giorni, la performance; sceglierà che viaggio intraprendere, che storia accendere, che performance vedere.

“La mia ricerca, oltre che basarsi sulla parola che prende vita attraverso il corpo, vuole ricreare anche l’atmosfera che chi scrive e legge un diario sperimenta: l’intimità e la completa sincerità che sono alla base della nascita della scrittura diaristica. Questo mi ha portato a continuare una sperimentazione sull’utilizzo della luce che, fin dall’inizio del mio lavoro come artista, mi ha accompagnato, prima come unica protagonista e, in questo caso, come mezzo che permette una partecipazione attiva del pubblico all’atto performativo” Elena Copelli.

(ENG) PEEP DIARY is a participant observer and relational performance of Dance Theatre that deals with memory, based on the written recollections resulting in a diary form. The performance is in total dark. The audience enters a dark room and lights up the performance through the torch of their cell phone.

“I want to recreate the intimacy and confidence that are experienced through the writing of a diary. Everything is studied to create suggestions and images in order to permit the audience to fell and remember the imaginary diary of their lives. In the world of Peep Diary you could find every kind of story, it is up to the audience which one he wants to live or remember”. Elena Copelli
